I have been visiting Marhaba Palace for a long time now, and it has reached the point where it genuinely feels like a second home to me. There is something special about returning to a hotel where the staff remember you, welcome you back like family, and make you feel valued from the moment you arrive. For me, that is what hospitality is all about, and Marhaba Palace continues to get it right.
I have stayed at several other hotels across Tunisia this year alone, but Marhaba Palace remains my number one choice, without a doubt. What makes this hotel stand out is not just the facilities or the surroundings, but the people who work there. Whoever is responsible for recruiting the staff deserves real credit, because they consistently seem to choose people who understand what good hospitality means.
Tunisia has faced its own challenges this year, and I appreciate that difficult circumstances can sometimes affect working conditions and the level of service in the hospitality industry. Despite this, Marhaba Palace has maintained a team of people who work hard, treat guests well, and help create the welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. That deserves recognition.
A special thank you to the staff who make the difference ❤️
🍹 The bar team: Anizi, Mahmoud, Titi, Wissem and especially the bar boss Rochdi. Thank you for the warm welcomes, the friendly service and the little things that make each stay memorable.
🏨 Reception: Mehdi, thank you for helping make guests feel welcome and looked after.
🍽️ The restaurant: Marwen, thank you for your contribution to the welcoming atmosphere and service.
📱 Raki: Whenever I have a small inconvenience or need information, Raki is always just a message away. He consistently goes above and beyond to help, and that level of care makes such a difference. It is reassuring to know that someone is willing to listen and help whenever needed.
🧹 The housekeeping team: I also want to recognise all the wonderful cleaners who work exceptionally hard behind the scenes. Their efforts are sometimes overlooked, but they play a huge part in making a hotel comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for everything you do!
These are just some of the people I can mention by name, but every member of the team who contributes to the hotel's atmosphere deserves appreciation.
Genuine hospitality makes all the difference
One thing I particularly respect about Marhaba Palace is that I have never felt pressured by anyone to leave a positive review. I have experienced other hotels where guests are handed review forms during dinner or encouraged to write something positive while receiving good service, only for the level of attention to change afterwards.
Marhaba Palace has never given me that impression. My appreciation comes from my own experiences, and I am writing this because I genuinely want to recognise the people and the hotel that have made my stays so enjoyable. To me, that is the difference between simply asking for good reviews and actually earning them through consistent service.
One small area for improvement
If I had one criticism of my most recent stay, it would be the animation team. Compared with some of the previous teams, I did not feel quite the same energy or atmosphere this time around. Entertainment can make a real difference to the overall holiday experience, so I hope this is something that can be improved.
That said, it is a relatively small point in what has otherwise been a very positive experience. I am hopeful that the atmosphere will be even better for the Christmas and New Year period.
A message to anyone considering Marhaba Palace
If you are thinking about booking this hotel, I would absolutely encourage you to give it a try.
If you have never visited Tunisia before, my advice is to arrive with an open mind, embrace the local culture, and appreciate the experience for what it is. Every destination is different, and travelling with realistic expectations makes all the difference.
For me, Marhaba Palace stands out among the hotels I have experienced in Tunisia. The welcoming staff, the personal touches, and the feeling of being recognised and appreciated are what keep bringing me back. A hotel can have beautiful surroundings, but it is the people who turn a holiday into a memorable experience.
Marhaba Palace, thank you for making me feel at home time and time again. To all the staff who have looked after me, thank you for your hard work, kindness and genuine hospitality.
Keep doing what you do, because it matters more than you may realise.
I look forward to returning very soon, and I am already looking forward to seeing familiar faces again.
See you all soon, Marhaba Palace! ❤️🇹🇳
